Please tell me we’re getting to the point where we aren’t referring to our workplaces as “families” anymore, okay?
I'm not talking about your coworkers. We spend so much time at work that it’s natural to form deep personal relationships with the people we work with.
I’m talking about the organizations that tout a culture that works like a “family” and then freezes salaries, lays people off, and then takes record profits for themselves. That’s not a family. And if it is a family, then it’s time for a divorce.
