I'm Not Sure What Needs to Be Fixed

"I need help but I'm not quite sure what needs to be fixed."

As a consultant, organizational leaders call me when they know something should be operating better but they haven't pinpointed where the issue/s are or what the next step is.

I may go down the paths they recommend or I may take my own path. Sure, they can try to figure it out on their own, but chances are:

1️⃣ they are busy so keep putting it off and/or

2️⃣ they are too close to the problem to see and/or

3️⃣ if they find one thing wrong they stop (instead of considering it could be multiple issues).

And, if they try to figure it out on their own, they lose time and results and that translates into lost 💵.

Instead, experienced organizational leaders bring me in and turn me loose. It doesn't matter the industry or the department. Everything has people, process, and technology and those are the areas I consider together.

A leader might say, "We're losing candidates from point of hire to first day on the job but I don't know why." Some leaders might jump to the conclusion that "It's HR's fault." Because my background is operations and human resources and I love a good process, I know NOT to jump to a conclusion until I have spoken to everyone.

First, I will walk the candidates' walk. I will talk to candidates who were extended offers but didn't start. I will talk to those that did start. I will interview the stakeholders involved in the process - yes, HR, but also the Hiring Manager, IT, the interview committee, etc. I will come back with my discovery, what themes were uncovered, and potential ways to a solution (with my recommendation).

Yes, there are many paths you can go down but there is only one path that will actually get you out of the maze you're in and give you the best result.

Let me help. Message me today to schedule a call.
